Lull Telehandlers
Lull telehandlers have been in production since 1959. They specialize in load placement. For more accurate placement capabilities, their patented Stabil-Trak stability system provides much more precise placement capabilities. Lull telehandlers provide a large variety of optional attachments and these telehandlers can really help you accomplish all your requirements, whilst being safe and efficient at the worksite. When precision and accuracy are a must, leave it to a Lull telehandler to accomplish everything you require.
The Future
In order to make rough terrain forklifts as functional as possible, numerous attachments have been designed and made like booms, winches, and rotating fork carriages, to enable the forklift to position materials more accurately. The booms or articulating booms come with 2 different extendible arms and could reach up and over structures in order to position loads on interior roof slope settings or in the upper or center floors. New attachments and products are being developed and designed all the time and will be available in the future.
A lot of improvements have been made with extra safety features becoming more prevalent. Like for example, load-reach management devices are able to restrict the forklift's reach automatically, based on the load being handled as opposed to relying on the operator. Pressure sensors are used in order to determine the weight of the load. This information is sent to a small electronic memory device which had all the load-reach limitations pre-programmed into it.
The memory of the boom would compare the angle and the extension of the boom with the safety limits, once the load is being placed into position. There is an essential lock-up device or a warning system which prevents the operator from over-reaching and possibly causing the boom to fail or the forklift to tip over.
