Narrow Aisle Forklift
Made to both lower and lift loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is recommended for work environments with narrow spaces between aisles, such as warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires which make maneuvering very simple.
The operator of this particular type of forklift normally stands up in a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the back. This configuration enables for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several models of these forklifts that come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment can pivot to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire machine. The sit-down model usually has four wheels.
An electric engine is used to power many narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered machines are not noisy and do not produce exhaust fumes, making them the suitable option for closed places like retail spaces. Several lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. However, the diesel version is not recommended to be utilized indoors as it can be quite noisy and produce exhaust.
