Heavy Forklifts
With their new series of heavy forklift trucks, Hyundai is targeting a new customer base. A variety of industries, from the concrete and natural stone industries, to the steel industry, the transportation of heavy goods in the ports and the railway sector are all relying upon and working with heavy duty machines. The efficiency and power provided by the models keep operational costs low and offer the best conditions for economical work. These equipment can excel in the nearly all demanding settings.
Providing the required power on all of the large capacity units, the Cummins diesel engine ranges from 162 horse-power to 250 horse-power. TierIII emission standards are met with engines which have 6 cylinders. These models could take the truck up to a speed of 35 km/h. It can climb on steep slopes and rough terrain and also offers great acceleration.
To be able to select 1 of 2 driving modes, the operator can utilize a switch. While in "Power" mode, full power is available for work on heavy loads or tough terrain. In the "STP" mode, the trucks can save a lot of fuel during light-duty work. Additionally, simply by pressing a switch, the operator can automatically maintain a selected speed without touching the accelerator pedal. This is another fuel saving function. The fully automatic transmission of the forklift gently shifts through the gears, making the equipment comfortable to use and easy to maneuver.
A comfortable and spacious working place is provided by a well-ventilated cabin. The cabin combines high performance with fatigue-free work. The powerful air conditioning and heating system helps ensure the operator is comfortable inside. The cab was designed ergonomically to give a bird's eye view of all of the controls, adding to the overall safety of the unit. An MP3 player and a CD player put the finishing touches on offering the nice atmosphere that Hyundai equipment are supposed to have.
