Articulating Booms - Electric and Bi-Energy
The Bi-Energy and Genie DC machines offered by Terex provide quiet and emission-free operation in the most sensitive work applications. Like for example, in industrial situations where the machinery should travel significant distances, the Genie bi-energy system combines the flexibility and benefits of a diesel powered generator using a 48 Volt DC machinery.
Important features which this combination provides is up, over and out positioning capabilities for complete versatility. Also, the zero tail-swing offered by nearly all models, combined with the tight turning radius provides easy maneuvering through standard doors and narrow aisles.
The drive and proportional controls offer the machinery with smooth drive performance and precise boom positioning. For quiet and emission free operation suitable for sensitive settings, there is a 48V DC electric drive system. There are jib boom models on the market to function with an extra working range for specific tasks. On non-jib models, there is a self-leveling platform which rotates ninety degrees to either side.
Articulating Booms - Diesel Engine
The Terex Genie is ideal for industrial applications and outdoor construction applications. This particular model offers engine-powered articulating Z booms that combine up, out and over positioning capabilities and extreme lifting versatility overall. The outreach provided by this particular model is the best in the market.
Diesel engine equipment on most modes have an articulating boom which offers zero tail-swing with a small turning radius. These machines are great in small or narrow locations. Additionally, they provide exceptional torque, terrain and grade maneuverability and supreme power. The diesel engines are quiet overall also. Nearly all models have active oscillating axle and full time drive positive drive traction system to offer great flexibility on rough and uneven surfaces.
High ground clearance is provided in 4 or 2 wheel drive models, whilst the rough terrain models are desirable for any company's fleet. The jib boom types are available and offer extra range capabilities. On non-jib types, the self-leveling platform also rotates to ninety degrees on these models as well.
